“Every child is an artist.”– Pablo Picasso

The Torah School art program encourages all children to think and create in an imaginative, visual, and outside-of-the-box manner– which, in turn, helps support students in their secular and Judaic studies. The curriculum spans a wide range of mediums and techniques, including drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, 3-D building, and digital photography. The study of art history which informs our students about famous artists and key art periods provides an effective backdrop as they utilize their newly learned skills in their creative endeavors.

The art studio offers students the opportunity to work on their individual projects of self-expression in a creative and innovative environment. In addition to the art room being a fun and relaxed space for students to come and express themselves, it is also a place that boosts children’s creativity, confidence, and self-discovery.
Please be sure to browse through our art gallery during the course of the school year to enjoy the many beautiful works of art created by our talented students!
