Keeping Jewish Education Accessible

The Defining Challenge of Our Time: The Need for Quality Sustainable Jewish Day Schools

At the Torah School, we teach our students to cherish their identity as Jews and to see the wealth of their heritage as central to their lives. While we expose them to the best of what Western culture has to offer, teaching them to take part in the wonders of science and the genius of literature,we also foster an enthusiasm for Judaism that is rare among today’s youth.

We believe the goal of an elementary day school is to educate the whole child and to instill in him or her a passion for life as a fully committed Jew. From whatever part of the Jewish community our children come, they leave us knowing that Judaism encourages lifelong learning, and that our ancient heritage is an irreplaceable gift that adds immeasurable value to our future.

Tuition at our school covers roughly 75% of our expenses.  People who share our vision and passion and donate to our school enable us to continue our mission of providing exemplary Judaic and secular education to the next generation of our community's committed Jews.

  Giving with Confidence

We take our fiduciary responsibility with great seriousness. You can donate to the Torah School with confidence, knowing that 87 cents of every dollar you give goes directly to educational expenses.

A school's most important asset is its faculty. Hiring and maintaining a talented faculty is the surest way to guarantee academic excellence. We are proud to spend 76% of our budget on teachers' salaries and benefits. Donate with confidence, and know that your support will have a profound effect on the classroom.

We have a number of opportunities for participating and giving. For information about any of the following programs, please call Zev Teichman, ex 2311, or email him
